We are pleased to invite you to the first edition of the International Art Fair HOT ART Mexico City to be held from April 5th to April 10th, 2011 in Mexico City.

For this first edition we will have a total of 40 exhibitors.

HOT ART has been hosted in Basel, Switzerland, during the last 5 years alongside Art Basel to frame a week that gathers in single place collectors, curators and international art market professionals from all over the world. The 6th edition will take place again at Claramatte Parkhaus , 15 - 19 June, 2011.

For the first time HOT ART Mexico City will be held at Campo Marte, located in Mexico City's emblematic Paseo de la Reforma. Its privileged location places the fair at the heart of one of the most important cultural and social centers of the City, which is home to other iconic art institutions such as Museo Tamayo, Museo de Arte Moderno, Sala de Arte Público Siqueiros, Museo Nacional de Antropología, Casa del Lago, and Auditorio Nacional, among others. This is additionally one of the city's hubs for leading hotels and restaurants. We have chosen this particular location because, in our view, it is essential for the fair to blend with the cultural day-to-day life of this metropolis.

HOT ART is a world-quality fair principally focused on promoting the appreciation and collection of contemporary art by helping to position national and international art galleries within a new and promising market. We will grant equal access to all collectors, visitors and art professionals to all participating art galleries and vice versa, which is a breakthrough in art fair practices.

Our VIP program includes young collectors, art professionals, and museum and cultural institution directors to be part of special events. There will be several Acquisition Awards donated by Mexican collectors and institutions.
